VoIP
Cloud phone service your team will actually use — and a bill that actually makes sense.
Most SMBs are still paying a legacy carrier for a phone system that was designed for the office your team doesn’t sit in anymore. The bill is confusing. Adding a line takes two weeks and a support ticket. Voicemails go to a random handset no one checks. And when an employee works from home or the road, they hand out their cell number instead.
Gravity Networks deploys modern cloud VoIP that works on a laptop, a desk phone, a cell, or all three. Your main number rings the right people wherever they are. Texting, video, and voicemail-to-email are included, not upsells. And when you add or remove a user, it takes two clicks — not a service ticket to Ma Bell.
What modern VoIP actually gives you:
- One business number that rings anywhere — office, home, cell, browser
- Business texting (SMS & MMS) from your main line, not from an employee’s cell
- Voicemail-to-email, transcription, and call recording included
- Video meetings and team chat in the same app — no extra subscription
- Deploy a new user in minutes; port an existing number in days, not months
- Predictable per-user pricing so your phone bill stops surprising you

Managed Services
Phones are part of IT. We run them both so you have one number to call when anything breaks.
Cybersecurity
Voice phishing and caller-ID spoofing are up. We make your phone stack part of your security, not a gap.
Cloud Solutions
Your phones, email, and files should live together — and fail over together. Here’s how we do it.
VOIP QUESTIONS WE GET ON QUOTE CALLS
Real answers to the practical questions owners ask before switching carriers.
Will my existing phone number transfer (port) to the new system?
Yes, in almost every case. The legal requirement (LNP — Local Number Portability) means your current carrier has to release your number when you submit a port request. Business ports typically complete in 7–14 business days. We handle the LOA paperwork, coordinate the cutover window so there’s no dropped-call gap, and keep the old system live as a fallback until the port settles. Toll-free and international numbers work the same way, with slightly longer timelines.
Does VoIP work when the internet is down?
Not on the desk phones in the office — but calls don’t have to go to voicemail. We configure automatic failover to mobile apps (the same business line rings cell phones), call forwarding to a backup number, or a scripted auto-attendant message. Most outages are at the office, not the phones. If you have multiple locations or need absolute uptime, we can spec a second internet circuit (SD-WAN, cellular failover) so phones never notice.
Can remote employees use the system without a desk phone?
Yes, and most modern deployments skip desk phones entirely. The cloud VoIP platform runs as a desktop app, a mobile app, and a browser extension. A remote rep makes and receives business calls from their laptop with a headset — and the same call appears on their mobile app if they step away. No forwarding from their personal cell number to their work line.
Is cloud VoIP HIPAA-compliant for medical practices?
It can be, with the right provider and the right configuration. We deploy VoIP platforms that sign a BAA, encrypt calls in transit, log access for audit, and offer secure voicemail-to-email that stays inside the encrypted mailbox rather than plain SMTP. For healthcare clients, call recording configuration (who can listen, retention period, access logs) is part of the deploy — not an afterthought.
What happens if I want to leave — do I keep my number?
Yes. Same LNP rules that let you port in let you port out. Your number is yours, not ours. We release it without friction, hand over the account, and provide a final export of call recordings and voicemails. No termination fees, no data hostage — same philosophy as the rest of our stack.
Do you charge extra for adding or removing a user?
No. User counts are billed by the month — add a hire at 10am, remove a departure at 4pm, and the next invoice reflects it automatically. No seat-activation fees, no scheduling a technician to come out, no port-configuration surcharge. Deploying a new user (phone app, number, voicemail) takes us about 15 minutes.
